In this surreal exploration of the fairy tale, Donkey Skin, a princess has fallen into an unknown land, escaping the clutches of her abusive father only to be pursued by hungry dogs. A dispassionate moon observes her tragic fate.

Librettist Cristina Fríes and composer Ryan Suleiman combine forces to create this exciting work as part of the 2019 Festival of New American Music.
